Platform Connections
Set up and manage connections to your Microsoft Power Platform environments.
Connections are how Velnoro accesses your platform metadata for capability scanning and governance insights. Each connection represents one Microsoft tenant.
Before setting up a connection, ensure you have the appropriate admin access. See the Permissions Reference for a full breakdown of what access is needed, what Velnoro requests, and why.
Key Concepts
- Connection: A saved set of credentials linking Velnoro to one of your Microsoft tenants.
- Auth status: Shows whether the Power Platform delegated authorization is active. Statuses: Authorized (ready to scan), Pending (consent flow not completed), Needs Reauth (token expired, admin must re-authorize).
- Quick Connect vs Manual: Quick Connect uses a streamlined OAuth flow. Manual setup gives you full control over the app registration and permissions.
- Read-only access: Velnoro never writes to or modifies anything in your tenant. All API access is strictly read-only.
