Requests
Submit and track solution requests for tools, capabilities, or resources your team needs.
Requests lets team members submit intake requests for solutions, tools, or capabilities they need. Admins can triage, assign, and track these requests through to resolution, and link them to discovered assets in your environment.
Prerequisites
- A Velnoro team account
- All team members can submit requests
- Status updates, assignment, and asset linking require Owner or Admin role
Submitting a Request
- Navigate to Enable > Requests in the sidebar
- Click New Request
- Fill in the request details:
- Title (required): A short description of what you need
- Description (optional): Details about the problem you are trying to solve and any requirements
- Priority: Low, Medium, High, or Critical
- Click Submit Request
Your request is visible to you and to admins. You can view its status at any time from the Requests list.
Request Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Submitted | New request, not yet reviewed |
| In Review | An admin is evaluating the request |
| Approved | Request has been approved |
| Declined | Request was not approved (resolution notes explain why) |
| Completed | Request has been fulfilled |
Managing Requests (Admin)
Admins and Owners can see all requests across the team. On the request detail page, admins can:
- Update status using the status dropdown. Completing or declining a request prompts for resolution notes.
- Assign the request to a team member. Assigning automatically moves a Submitted request to In Review.
- Link assets: Search for governance-tracked assets and link them to the request, showing which platform assets relate to the request.
Asset Linking
Linked assets appear on the request detail page. This connects solution requests to the actual Power Platform assets discovered by Velnoro scans. Admins can:
- Search assets by name using the search field
- Click an asset to link it
- Click the unlink icon to remove a link
Asset linking is manual at this time. Automatic suggestion is planned for a future release.
