Billing and Plans
Manage your Velnoro subscription, understand plan tiers, and handle payments.
Manage your subscription and payment details from the Billing page in Settings.
Prerequisites
- Requires the "Manage Billing" permission (Owner or Admin role)
Trial
Your team starts with a 30-day Pro Trial that gives full access to all features:
- A teal "Trial" indicator in the top bar shows how many days remain
- You'll receive an email reminder 3 days before your trial expires
- After trial expiry, your account drops to the Discovery (free) tier: dashboard summary and environment detail only, scans continue to work, but Governance, Executive Summary, Health Scoring, and PDF Export are locked
Subscribing to Business Tier
- Navigate to Billing in Settings
- Click Upgrade to Business (or the equivalent checkout button)
- Complete payment through Stripe's secure checkout
- Business tier activates immediately; all features unlock
Managing Your Subscription
- Click Manage Billing to open the Stripe customer portal
- From there you can update payment methods, view invoices, or cancel your subscription
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period

Upgrading After Trial Expiry
If your trial has expired and you're on the Discovery tier:
- Navigate to Billing
- You'll see a prompt showing which features are locked
- Click Upgrade to Business to start a paid subscription
- All features unlock immediately after payment
Troubleshooting

FAQ
Q: What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription? Your data is retained. Your account drops to the Discovery (free) tier with limited features, but your scan history and asset data remain accessible. You can resubscribe at any time to regain full access.
Q: Is there a free tier after the trial? Yes. The Discovery tier is free forever and includes asset inventory counts, type and environment breakdowns, builder activity overview, governance flag counts, and environment drill-down.
