Team and Members

Configure your team, invite members, and manage role-based access.

Manage your team's configuration and control who has access.

Prerequisites

  • Requires the "Manage Settings" permission (Owner or Admin role)

Team Settings

Configure your team's display name and organization details.

  • Organization name: The name shown in the sidebar and used across the app
  • Danger zone: Team deletion (permanently removes all data, connections, scans, and member associations)

Deleting a team is irreversible. All encrypted credentials are securely zeroed, active scans are cancelled, Stripe subscriptions are cancelled, and all data is permanently removed.

Members

Current Members

View all team members with their name, email, role, and join date. You can change a member's role or remove them from the team.

Pending Invitations

View invitations that haven't been accepted yet. Revoke pending invitations if needed.

Inviting New Members

  1. Click Invite Members
  2. Enter the email address(es) of the people you want to invite
  3. Select a role for each invitee
  4. Click Send Invitations

Invitees receive an email with a link to join your team. They'll need to create a Velnoro account (or sign in if they already have one) to accept the invitation.

Common Tasks

Changing a Member's Role

  1. Navigate to Members
  2. Find the member in the list
  3. Click the role dropdown next to their name
  4. Select the new role
  5. The change takes effect immediately

Removing a Team Member

  1. Navigate to Members
  2. Find the member you want to remove
  3. Click the remove button
  4. Confirm the removal

The removed member loses access to the team immediately but retains their personal Velnoro account.

FAQ

Q: How many team members can I have? There is no limit on team members for any tier. Invite as many colleagues as you need.

Q: Can I transfer team ownership? Yes. The current Owner can change another admin's role to Owner. There must always be at least one Owner per team.

Q: What happens when I delete my team? All team data is permanently deleted: connections (credentials securely zeroed), scan history, asset data, member associations, and Stripe subscriptions. This cannot be undone.
