Builders
View builder leaderboards, team members, activity patterns, and recognition badges.
The Builders page provides a four-tab view of the people building on your platforms. It integrates scan data with enriched owner profiles to show who is building what, how active they are, and how they contribute to your citizen development program.
Tabs
Leaderboard
Top builders ranked by activity and asset count. Use this to identify your most prolific citizen developers and recognize their contributions.
Members
Full list of identified builders with their departments and roles. This tab shows every person who owns at least one asset discovered during scanning.
Activity
Builder activity patterns and trends over time. See when people are creating new assets and how activity levels change across your organization.
Badges
Recognition badges based on builder contributions. Badges are awarded automatically based on asset counts, activity patterns, and governance alignment.
Owner Enrichment
The Builders page is most useful when owner enrichment data is available. Without it, builders are identified only by their platform display names.
To enrich builder profiles with department, job title, and manager data:
- Graph API: Add
User.Read.Allpermission to your Microsoft connection. Velnoro enriches owner data after each scan. - CSV upload: Import a CSV with department data via the People Directory.
If enrichment data is incomplete, a banner explains the status and how to improve it.
Filtering
The Builders page includes the cross-dimensional filter bar. Filter by platform, environment, asset type, owner, and department to focus on specific segments of your builder community.
On smaller screens, the filter bar collapses into a "Filters" button with a badge showing active filter count.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Builder list shows platform names instead of real names | Owner enrichment not configured | Enable Graph User.Read.All or upload a department CSV |
| Department column shows "Unknown" | Enrichment data missing for those builders | Re-run a scan after enabling User.Read.All, or include those people in your CSV upload |
